Hi, I’m Lindsey.
Therapy, education, and consulting grounded in connection and practical support.

Welcome.
I’m glad you’re here.
Taking the first step toward support can feel vulnerable. My goal is to offer a welcoming space where you can feel heard and explore what you need.
I’m Lindsey P. Boxie, a Licensed Professional Counselor and the owner of LMP Counseling & Consultation, LLC, in Lafayette, Louisiana. I support women, birthing people, partners, and families navigating fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, grief, anxiety, depression, and life transitions.
My approach draws on cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, and person-centered work. I value culturally responsive care, and faith can be included when you want it to be part of the conversation.
I also partner with healthcare organizations through maternal mental health training and Screen-to-Care consulting. This work focuses on translating understanding into practical next steps for the teams caring for patients.

The heart behind
my work.
In honor of my daughter, Parker.Perinatal mental health is deeply personal to me. In July 2015, my daughter, Parker, was stillborn at 37 weeks. Her loss, along with my own experience of postpartum depression, has shaped the heart of my work. I understand how grief and emotional struggles can exist alongside the expectations surrounding parenthood—and how difficult it can be to put those feelings into words or ask for support.
I bring that understanding into therapy alongside my clinical training. It deepens my compassion and reminds me to make room for each person’s story, without assuming their experience will look like mine. My hope is to offer a space where you feel heard, supported, and comfortable sharing what you’re carrying, at your own pace.
That same perspective guides my work with healthcare teams. Behind every screening result is a person with a story, relationships, and needs that deserve thoughtful attention. Through training and Screen-to-Care consulting, I help teams consider both how they respond in that moment and how they connect patients with ongoing support. Honoring Parker’s memory is woven into this work and my commitment to helping others feel seen and connected to care.
There’s room for your story.
Explore support that makes space for your experiences, needs, and next steps.
